Co-Existing with Wildlife
As we continue to develop open space, can we peacefully co-exist with wildlife? How can you handle calls from people asking for help with wildlife problems? Laura SimonLaura Simon, Urban Wildlife Director for the Fund for Animals, operates a wildlife hotline for The Fund for Animals, providing free advice and solutions for a wide range of wildlife conflicts experienced by the public. Laura is also President of the Connecticut Wildlife Rehabilitators Association, a member of the Connecticut Rabies Advisory Committee, and a state-certified nuisance wildlife control operator. She graduated from Yale's School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and has a Master's Degree in Environmental Management. |
