Dona Cosgrove Baker
Dona Cosgrove Baker is the president and founder of Feral Cat Caretakers' Coalition, which she started in 1999. She comes to the organization with 30 years experience in the medical profession. She retired in 1993 as a medical business management specialist for leading members of the medical community in Beverly Hills, California.
Baker's in-depth knowledge of feral cats was acquired through hands-on personal experience in feeding, trapping, sheltering, rescuing, observing, and studying the plight of feral cats. She has negotiated agreements in Los Angeles with several high profile corporations, establishing long-term TNR programs. She has designed the Feral Cat Caretaking Workshop and written a book about ferals for adults and children, The Story of Fannie and Freddie Feral.
Most recently, Dona has been invited by Neighborhood Cats NY to be a guest speaker at the National Feral Cat Summit in New York City on October 16, 2004.
