Michael Mountain: Michael, one of the founders of Best Friends, is president of the society, creator of the No More Homeless Pets movement, and editor of Best Friends magazine.
Francis Battista: Francis, one of the founders of Best Friends, directs Best Friends programs in Los Angeles, including celebrity fundraisers and super adoptions for local animals.
Faith Maloney: Faith, one of the founders of Best Friends, oversees all aspects of animal care at the sanctuary, including the Best Friends Clinic and adoption programs.
Gregory Castle: One of the founders of Best Friends, Gregory is president of No More Homeless Pets in Utah, a campaign to make Utah a no-kill state by 2005.
Cyrus Mejia: One of the founders, Cyrus is Best Friends "artist in residence" and his artwork, entitled the 575 Project, is currently touring the U.S., helping to share the message of No More Homeless Pets.
Sherry Woodard: Sherry is the dog training expert for Best Friends and provides training and behavior consultations to organizations around the country.
Sharon St. Joan: One of the founders of Best Friends, Sharon established the bird and wildlife department of the sanctuary. She is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and an expert on wild birds and small mammals.
